It seems to close yet so far. During a routine blood test on Sunday, we found out that his ANC had dropped below 500. We called the doctor and were asked to stop chemo. He has been on chemo hold this whole week and we go back for a blood test on Monday. Just when we thought that we had so few days left and everything was going smoothly, we have had to deal with this.
Low ANC with no symptom always causes me a lot of stress. But, right now, we are just hoping it’s because his body is tired and the chemo is crashing his counts. We will know more on Monday.
