EOT

This was the abbreviation I had been eagerly waiting for! End of treatment! Yes! The day arrived and went by. It was an amazing day. Also, because it happened to be Diwali. We really could not have asked for a better day to start a new life!

It felt strange to not have to give him any pills. However, I am glad it’s over.

All dressed up for Diwali!

From now on, Sohum has to go for monthly blood tests for the next year and then once every few month for four years. Only after that, he is considered cancer free. It will about a year for his body to get back to normal. He also needs to get reimmunized for everything.

He is happy about it! He has already started gaining weight. His appetite is coming back. All of this makes me happy. He finished building another LEGO. Next plan is to start working on our cook book that we plan to work on.

We have so much to do and so much to make up for. Please keep praying for him and wish him luck.

I will keep posting here whenever there is something to talk about. Maybe share all his recipes that are going in the book 🙂

That’s all for now!

Jaya
